About your opportunity

As the Lead - Maintenance Improvements, you will be responsible for the project management of the Maintenance Improvement Strategy (MIS) initiatives. You will plan and manage the annual maintenance improvements program and deliver the projects in collaboration with the Delivery Partner. You will be responsible for the development of business cases, project management plans and scope of works to support the delivery of maintenance improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the delivery of maintenance improvement projects and programs, ensuring they are delivered in scope, on time and to specification.
  • Develop business cases, project management plans and scope of works to support the delivery of maintenance improvement initiatives.
  • Coordinate MIS activities to drive maintenance improvements and knowledge; including the development of critical procedures and policies that support best practice and drive innovation and quality outcomes.
  • Manage the delivery phases of improvement projects, ensuing that reports and documentation is delivered in a timely and cost-effective manner and projects are delivered in accordance with specifications and standards.

About you

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification such as Engineering, or Trade Certificate, with significant demonstrated experience.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of maintenance and maintenance improvements.
  • Extensive knowledge of design and operational principles of electrical and mechanical or civil systems, ideally in a water industry or similar industrial environment.

This position has a base salary range of $118,579 - $129,013 dependant on experience p.a. plus 12.75% superannuation. Shift and overtime allowances may also apply.

Appointment to this role is subject to the provision of a national police check and may be subject to other medical/character requirements. Please note that people with criminal records are not automatically deemed ineligible. Each application will be considered on its merits.
