About your Opportunity

- Trunk Mains Senior Trade (Central Region - based at Mt Crosby)
- Trunk Mains Senior Trade (Northern Region - based at North Pine)
- Trunk Mains Senior Trade (Southern Region - based at Hinze)
As the Trunk Mains Senior Tradesperson, you will provide mentoring and leadership to a small team of tradespeople in the delivery of planning, scheduling, coordination, and execution of Seqwater’s Trunk Main Inspection program whilst also overseeing the Operational requirements for the Network Supply team in the field. You will provide services in relation to the operation, maintenance, refurbishment, and augmentation of assets, providing technical advice and support to the Trunk Main Supervisor, Regional Operations teams, Contractors and team members.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead the team in the construction, repair, or maintenance of trunk mains, ensuring work is carried out safely, efficiently, and in accordance with specifications.
- Prepare regular reports and other business documentation on Trunk Mains Inspection program progress, challenges, and issues.
- Address and resolve challenges or issues that arise during trunk mains projects, repairs or maintenance.
- Implement corrective actions to ensure Operational risk is mitigated.
- Develop and implement Standard Maintenance Procedures (e.g. job plans) for site related activities and participate in system audits activities.
- Ensure all Trunk Mains Asset Data is comprehensively and accurately recorded, including photos for handover to the Asset Systems and Information Governance team to facilitate efficient and complete upload to Seqwater’s CMMS / GIS.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- Relevant Trade qualifications with sound demonstrated supervisory experience.
- Possess a current "C" class Queensland Drivers Licence.
- Strong understanding of trunk main assets and maintenance requirements, including shutdown planning, resource allocation, isolation instructions.
- Sound demonstrated experience in a similar trade role.
This position has a salary range of $117,029 - $135,753 p.a. plus 12.75% superannuation
