About Your Opportunity 

Be at the forefront of identifying project gaps and risks early, while implementing and maintaining robust assurance and governance systems. With a focus on fostering clear communication and strong relationships across Seqwater Project Groups, you’ll ensure the smooth coordination of project and program governance forums. You’ll also work closely with stakeholders to provide project sponsors with assurance on progress and quality objectives, ensuring every project is on track for success. 

 Key responsibilities: 

  • Drive governance and assurance across Infrastructure Planning and Capital Delivery Group (IPCD), enhancing project performance and compliance. 

  • Perform program and project stage gate reviews to identify risks and ensure quality and progress. 

  • Foster strong relationships with stakeholders for seamless project delivery. 

  • Create systems and tools to track project governance and deliver progress updates to sponsors. 

 

About you 

To be successful in this role, you will possess:  

  • High level applied knowledge of project management governance and assurance frameworks, processes, systems (IT) and tools. 

  • Demonstrated experience in auditing, preferably in a project management environment to identify gaps and risks to project viability. 

  • Experience in collaborating with project managers (ideally for large infrastructure projects) to prepare audit outcome papers and supporting documentation. 

  • Demonstrated experience providing high level governance support in a project environment. 

  • An understanding of the general principles surrounding project management. 

  • Knowledge or the ability to rapidly acquire knowledge of Seqwater’s Project Gateway processes and systems. 

  • Well-developed stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to communicate with a broad range of professional groups, staff, leaders and external stakeholders 

 

This position has a salary starting at $104,668 plus 12.75% superannuation and is a 2 year fixed term contract.
