About Your Opportunity

As a Senior Property Advisor, you will play a crucial role in managing and advising on property-related matters. In this role, you’ll oversee property acquisitions, disposals, leases, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations. You will work closely with internal stakeholders, external partners, and regulatory bodies to support the organisation’s strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage the property portfolio, including acquisitions, disposals, leases, and licences, and ensure effective systems for tracking and auditing changes.
  • Provide expert advice on property matters such as native title, planning, valuation, tenure, and compliance with legal requirements.
  • Lead property-related projects, ensuring timely delivery, adherence to budget, and quality standards while mitigating risks and driving commercial returns.
  • Negotiate and manage property transactions, including leases, licences, and agreements for rural land uses, recreation, commercial arrangements, easements, and telecommunications.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and prepare reports on property portfolio performance, project progress, and strategic initiatives with recommendations for decision-making.

About you

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Property Economics and Real Estate, Business Administration or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum 7 to 10 years’ experience in property management and property negotiations, ideally with geographically spread and diverse property portfolios.
  • Strong knowledge of property laws and regulatory frameworks for managing large-scale property portfolios.
  • Highly developed communication and negotiation skills to liaise and influence internal and external stakeholders effectively.
  • Excellent project management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet timeframes and budgets.
  • Competence in Microsoft Office, asset management systems, and map-based applications.

The position is a full-time, fixed-term contract for two years, with a salary ranging from $122,730.25 - $133,528.77 per annum plus 12.75% superannuation.
