About Your Opportunity
As a Project Officer on the Toowoomba to Warwick Pipeline Project, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering one of Queensland’s key regional infrastructure initiatives. Working closely with the Project Director and Project Manager, you’ll help steer the project through investment planning, procurement, pre‑construction, delivery and commissioning. You’ll take ownership of project support and project controls, ensuring activities align with established project management and governance frameworks. This role places you at the centre of stakeholder engagement and project coordination, contributing directly to the successful delivery of a high‑profile, community‑shaping project.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide high‑quality project support to the Project Manager and Project Director, including preparing key documentation and ensuring compliance with Seqwater processes and governance requirements.
- Manage project support and project controls functions across assigned work programs, including records and document control, cost control and reporting (Planisware), procurement coordination, task assignment tracking, risk register maintenance, project change coordination, contract administration for low‑risk contracts, and maintenance of action and decision registers.
- Prepare, analyse and present accurate project performance reports, including cost, schedule, progress updates and forecasting to support informed decision‑making.
- Author, review and quality‑assure project documentation, including reports, presentations, correspondence and technical documents to ensure clarity, accuracy and alignment with project standards.
- Coordinate project meetings, briefings and workshops with internal and external stakeholders, including preparing materials, managing attendance and documenting minutes and actions.
- Identify and implement opportunities for process and procedure improvements, and coordinate project team contributions to tender documentation, including scopes of work, specifications and supporting technical content.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- Minimum 5 years professional experience in a complex project environment
- Experience in managing the successful delivery of projects and work packages.
- Class C Driver's License.
This position will be offered contract with an attractive salary and 12.75% superannuation.
