About Your Opportunity

Reporting to our Recreation Officer, you will respond to enquiries from the operations, the public, community groups and other organisations regarding third party access to Seqwater sites.

Key responsibilities:

  • Liaise with community groups, sporting bodies, the public and Seqwater staff regarding public access and event organisation.
  • Manage and process complex event applications including the delivery of the stakeholder feedback process and preparing appropriate access agreements within set timeframes.
  • Coordinate and respond to public enquiries regarding Seqwater recreational sites and access in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain records, reports, correspondence, and related material in accordance with the record management procedures and protocols of Seqwater.

 

About you

To be successful in this role, you will possess:  

  • Demonstrated experience in engaging with community groups/organisations and dealing with the public in relation to recreation management.
  • Experience in providing advice and support services to management.
  • Well-developed interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and customer service skills, particularly the ability to liaise with customers, external organisations, managers and staff at all levels.
  • Well-developed oral and written communication skills.
  • Well-developed computer literacy skills including MS word, excel and internet.

This position has a salary range of $86,849.48 - $96,833.54 p.a. plus 12.75% superannuation.
