About Your Opportunity
Reporting to the Asset Information & Systems Coordinator, this role plays a key role within Seqwater, overseeing the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the organisation's Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) system and associated platforms. This includes systems such as Asset Works Management Systems (Mainpac) and other tools managed by the Asset Management team.
In this role, you will be responsible for driving compliance and assurance activities, collaborating with stakeholders to assess enterprise risks, establish controls, conduct testing, and coordinate assurance processes.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of Seqwater's asset management system, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee the development and implementation of supporting systems including the Asset Works Management Systems (Mainpac) and any other systems which Asset Management own and operate.
- Drive ongoing improvement initiatives for the asset management and supporting systems, identifying opportunities to enhance functionality, optimise workflows, and improve data quality and accessibility.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to assess enterprise risk related to asset management, develop controls to mitigate risks, and conduct testing to ensure control effectiveness.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Significant demonstrated experience in asset management, systems development, and/or related roles within the water industry or a comparable sector.
- Demonstrated expertise in the development, implementation, and optimization of management systems, preferably in a utility or infrastructure environment.
- Proven experience in risk assessment, control development, and assurance activities (desirable)
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive initiatives to successful completion (desirable)
This position has a salary range of $118,579.95 to $129,013.30 plus 12.75% superannuation and is a full-time, permanent position.
