About Your Opportunity

In this role, you’ll develop innovative procurement strategies and plans to achieve cost savings, mitigate risks, and enhance performance. Leverage your in-depth expertise in supply chain management, sourcing activities, category management, commercial relationships, ERP systems, contract and supplier management, and decision support models to make an impact.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop procurement strategies and plans to manage procurement risk, integrate organisational policies into procurement practice, and measure and analyse corporate spend and savings data in specific categories.
• Work closely with key stakeholders to implement procurement strategies and plans.
• Negotiate contracts to ensure optimum delivery of services, improve value to Seqwater and manage expenditure prudently and efficiently
• Manage strategic contract relationships with suppliers that promote development of individual suppliers and markets to ensure Seqwater receives best value for money and continuous improvement over the life of contract.

About you

To be successful in this role, you will possess:  

• Prior experience in the selection, preparation, and execution of commercial agreements.
• Experience in sourcing and supplier relationship management.
• Experience in the application of market analysis tools – industry analysis and supplier analysis.

This position has a salary starting at $104,668.84 plus 12.75% superannuation and is a 1 year Fixed Term Contract.
