This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned talent acquisition professional to join Seqwater at one of the most pivotal moments in our history. You will be responsible for driving the end-to-end recruitment process to successfully attract, engage, and onboard talent for Seqwater which aligns with our culture and values. This role will collaborate closely with hiring leaders to develop effective recruitment strategies, ensure a positive candidate experience, and align talent acquisition practices with the company’s strategic objectives. Reporting to the Team Lead Talent Acquisition, this position will build leader capability, generate robust talent pipelines through strategic sourcing and pioneer the Seqwater brand externally.

Key responsibilities:

  • Build relationships with hiring leaders to understand workforce needs and develop tailored recruitment strategies.
  • End to end recruitment process management ensuring compliance and governance across legislative and Seqwater requirements.
  • Create talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs, identifying market trends and providing insights to inform hiring practices.
  • Effective promotion of Seqwater brand through participation in job fairs, events, and networking opportunities.
  • Conduct comprehensive candidate screening and interviewing, assessing skills, experience, and cultural fit.
  • Utilising tools like LinkedIn Recruiter & SEEK talent search to assist in passive candidate sourcing

About you

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • Tertiary qualification in Human Resources/related discipline or equivalent knowledge and experience.
  • Knowledge of and experience in Human Resources policies, recruitment best practice and applicable employment legislation.
  • Demonstrated end to end recruitment experience with medium to high volume recruitment, ideally across both corporate and operations portfolios.
  • Proven success partnering with leaders throughout the recruitment life cycle in a fast-paced environment.
  • Understanding of and strong experience in using an online recruitment system (preferably Pageup) to undertake the end to end recruitment process.
  • Unrestricted Drivers License
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on governance and compliance.

This position has a salary starting at $104,668 – $119,130 plus 12.75% superannuation dependant on experience and is a permanent full time position.
