About Your Opportunity

As a Senior Contract Administrator in Seqwater’s IPCD Group, you’ll support the commercial performance and governance of a multi-billion-dollar capital delivery portfolio. You’ll lead contract administration across complex infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and integrity. The role also involves building capability, driving consistency, and promoting best practices. You’ll work closely with Contract Managers, Project Directors, and support teams to enable successful execution and strategic alignment of contracts.

Key responsibilities:

  • Contract Administration Leadership: Strategically lead and deliver contract administration across complex infrastructure projects, ensuring consistency, compliance, and commercial integrity.
  • Systems & Advisory Support: Strengthen efficiency and governance through robust systems, expert guidance, and resolution of complex contractual issues.
  • Performance & Capability: Monitor contract performance, analyse KPIs and expenditure, maintain records, and deliver targeted training to build capability.
  • Governance & Collaboration: Ensure compliance with Seqwater’s WHS and risk systems, support audits, and align contract execution with cross-functional teams.

About you

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

Essentials

  • Extensive Contract Administration Expertise: Over 8–10 years’ experience managing high-value infrastructure contracts, including panel and multidisciplinary models, with strong capability in capital works and professional services.
  • Qualifications & Commercial Acumen: Holds tertiary qualifications in a relevant field and demonstrates proven ability to apply complex commercial and legal principles in contract oversight and compliance

Desirables

  • Contract Financial Oversight & Performance Monitoring: Skilled in budget tracking, cost control, and applying KPIs to assess contractor delivery and ensure compliance with contract terms.
  • Governance & Systems Proficiency: Experienced with contract management systems, audits, and data handling within enterprise platforms to support reporting, assurance, and infrastructure delivery.
