About Your Opportunity
As Workplace Specialist, you’ll lead strategic planning, coordination, and enterprise-level delivery of soft services and accommodation projects with the FM service partner. Managing the Workplace Team, you’ll ensure seamless office operations, high customer service standards, operational efficiency, and alignment with workplace strategy and corporate goals. You’ll oversee soft services—cleaning, pest management, security, grounds maintenance, and workplace services—and deliver Seqwater’s Workplace Strategy, including accommodation planning, space optimisation, occupancy modelling, and support for renovations or relocations.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop, refine and deliver the Workplace Strategy to meet accommodation needs of the organisational across corporate, operational and networks sites to improve safety, compliance and efficiency outcomes.
- Lead the strategic oversight and continuous improvement of soft services delivered by the FM service partner, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and service level agreements (SLAs).
- Drive enterprise-wide accommodation strategy and planning to ensure optimal use of space in support of operational needs and organisational growth using analysis of occupancy data, forecasting space requirements, and recommending strategic solutions for space optimisation.
- Collaborate and coordinate with internal stakeholders, FM partners and external vendors to develop and execute seamless office reconfigurations, relocations, and space allocation projects.
- Manage soft services and accommodation-related projects from planning through execution, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met, including the development of strategic plans, policies, and procedures related to soft services and space management.
- Prepare business cases, project documentation, and communication materials for stakeholders and leadership.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (Project Management, Property or Workplace Management) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in facilities management or related role, with a focus on soft services and space planning across varying asset types including commercial, industrial and residential.
- Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation and communication skills.
- Experience leading strategic workplace initiatives and delivering complex projects in large or multi-site organisations including financial and program modelling, analysis and forecasting, coordination of stakeholder input to drive optimal outcomes for enterprise accommodation.
- Strong experience managing outsourced service providers and cross functional project teams.
- Experience in industry best practice soft services facilities management delivery demonstrating improvement in cost and quality outcomes.
This position has a salary range of $122,730.25 - $133,528.77 plus 12.75% superannuation.
