About Your Opportunity
As a Project Engineer, you will provide engineering and technical expertise to support the successful delivery of capital projects in accordance with Seqwater’s processes and procedures. Working closely with the Project Manager, Senior Project Engineers, and the broader Project Team, you will play a key role across the design, procurement, pre‑construction, construction, and commissioning phases to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to standard.

This position will be based on site at Lake MacDonald.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide on‑site engineering support across procurement, construction, and project close‑out for a major dam infrastructure project.
- Manage assigned work packages, monitoring contractor performance against cost, program, scope, quality, and safety requirements.
- Inspect and oversee construction activities to ensure compliance with engineering standards, specifications, QA/QC processes, and approvals.
- Prepare daily site reports, audits, and performance documentation, escalating technical or quality issues as required.
- Collaborate closely with Project Managers, Senior Project Engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to support safe, compliant, and successful project delivery.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in engineering discipline (e.g. civil, mechanical)
- Minimum 5 years’ professional experience in infrastructure projects including 2 years’ experience as a project engineer
- Demonstrated experience in engineering and/or construction management, quality assurance, environmental management and WHS management related to infrastructure projects.
- Class C Driver’s Licence
- Construction Industry White Card.

This position will be offered contract with an attractive salary and 12.75% superannuation.
