About Your Opportunity

As the Senior Solution Architect, you will lead Seqwater’s Solution Architecture team and practice, delivering high-quality, streamlined architecture services across projects and operational initiatives. You will ensure solutions are designed and delivered in line with established standards, governance frameworks and best-practice architecture principles.

You will play a key role in enabling organisational benefits through technology solutions, while driving the ongoing maturity of Seqwater’s Solution Architecture practice. Working closely with technology and business stakeholders, you will identify efficiencies and improve delivery outcomes through the development of reusable solution artefacts, design patterns and architecture standards.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead Seqwater’s Solution Architecture practice, driving best practice and promoting the value of solution architecture across the organisation.
  • Act as the design authority for technology solutions, guiding architecture activities and ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and governance.
  • Develop and maintain solution architecture artefacts, standards and design patterns to improve consistency, integration and delivery outcomes.
  • Partner with business and technology stakeholders to shape strategic and operational initiatives, ensuring solutions meet business needs and deliver value.
  • Lead and mentor the Solution Architecture team, overseeing capability development, resource planning and the quality of architectural deliverables. 

About you

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • Tertiary qualifications in technology, engineering, science, mathematics or a related discipline.
  • Significant experience in Solution Architecture, with strong expertise across business, information, application and technology domains.
  • Proven experience developing solution architecture frameworks, artefacts, templates and structured models.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise architecture principles, governance frameworks and reference architectures.
  • Demonstrated leadership capability, with experience providing technical guidance and influencing outcomes across complex technology environments.
  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement, consultation and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work effectively across business and technology teams.

This role will be offered on a full-time 2 year fixed term contract, with a competitive salary, plus 12.75% superannuation.
