This is a new opportunity to help shape how we communicate with our people across 100 sites from Gympie to the Gold Coast, west toward the Lockyer Valley/Toowoomba ranges, and across to the Redlands as our organisation evolves.
About the role
As Internal Communication Advisor, you'll help more than 1,000 people working across understand what's happening across Seqwater, why it matters and what it means for them.
You'll work closely with leaders and subject matter experts to provide practical communication advice, develop clear messaging and deliver communications that engage our people and support our priorities.
You'll create content across a range of channels, help leaders communicate with confidence, and look for better ways to reach our people. You'll also use feedback, insights and communication data to understand what’s working and where we can do better.
It's a role for someone who can take complex information, find the story and make it clear, useful and relevant to the people who need to hear it.
What you'll bring
- A degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing or a related discipline, or equivalent demonstrated experience.
- Experience developing and delivering internal communication strategies, content and campaigns across a range of channels.
- The confidence to provide sound, practical communication advice and build trusted relationships with leaders, stakeholders and subject matter experts.
- Strong writing, editing and storytelling skills, with the ability to turn complex information into clear, engaging and audience-focused content.
- Experience using feedback, insights and performance data to improve communication and employee engagement.
Role requirements
- C class driver’s licence.
- Participation in the on-call emergency roster, as required.
