About Your Opportunity

As Construction Manager, and member of multiple project teams you will be successfully delivering complex asset improvement projects, across the Seqwater’s network.  In this site-based construction management role you will be ensuring site works are progressing safely to schedule and in accordance with design, water quality, and environmental plans.

You will coordinate with cross-functional teams, internal and external stakeholders to deliver high-quality program and project outcomes and achieve strategic business objectives.

Key responsibilities:

  • Site based construction management of a range of capital works undertaken by contractors across a range of operational assets.
  • Coordinating site construction activities with the operations team to ensure safety, quality, water supply/reliability, and environmental risks are mitigated. Including the development and execution of specific isolation plans and safe work procedures (including any relevant work access permits) to ensure project outcomes achieved whilst minimising network disruptions.
  • Carry out necessary fabrication inspections.
  • Responsible for the construction management of assigned projects, reporting directly to the relevant Principal Project Manager / Project Director / PMs.
  • Provision of advice on risks, potential mitigation methods, and relevant hold points related to projects. 

About you

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • Relevant technical qualifications or demonstrated significant experience (in one of the fields of mechanical, electrical, or civil nature).
  • Class C Driver’s Licence.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Australian/New Zealand Standards within one of the fields of mechanical, electrical, or civil.
  • Sound knowledge of project management, quality assurance, environmental management and workplace health and safety management related to infrastructure projects.
  • Substantial experience in Commissioning Management of within one of the fields of mechanical, electrical, or civil (preferably in the water industry).

This position has a salary range of $132,491 - $142,924 (dependent on experience) plus 12.75% superannuation.
