About Your Opportunity
Reporting to our Team Leader Process & Analysis, you will be responsible for leading Seqwater’s business analysis, business process management and testing services. You will manage, mentor, and guide peers and direct reports, coordinate with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders and customers for successful service delivery. This role is crucial in ensuring that business needs are met efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and performance
Key responsibilities:
- Lead the management of Seqwater’s business processes, driving internal customer collaboration to identify opportunities and advocate and implement innovative business automation solutions. Develop and manage resource management strategies for the team.
- Deliver the administration and coordination of Business Process Management and Business Analysis functions across all Seqwater and provide specialised business advice and analysis and ensure developed solutions achieve results in line with Seqwater’s corporate goal and guarantee quality assurance for the solutions.
- Determine solutions to complex business problems which consist of recommendations for process improvements, organisational changes or strategic planning and policy development and prepare briefing notes to justify solution selection for key internal stakeholders.
- Oversee and establish high-level standards, policies, and methodologies for business analysis to ensure compliance with Seqwater corporate goals, regulatory requirements, improved efficiency, and enhanced customer satisfaction across projects and programs.
- Establish framework(s) for business analyst policies, standards, operational procedures and framework, tools and techniques to reflect current industry best practices.
- Provide regular briefing material and performance reports, including budgets and resource allocation, for key stakeholders.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Substantial experience in business analysis with proven experience in a leadership or supervisor roles, managing business analysts or test teams.
- Experience in both agile and waterfall project management methodologies.
- Alignment with Seqwater values.
- Business analysis qualifications and certifications (desirable).
- Scrum master certification (desirable).
- Test management certification (desirable).
This position has a salary range of $132,491.09 – $142,924.42 (dependent on experience) plus 12.75% superannuation.
