Help shape the future of Seqwater’s recreation sites and erosion control program! We’re seeking a Lead – Recreation and Erosion Control to drive asset improvement projects and strategic initiatives that enhance recreation areas to provide sustainable opportunities for the community, and rehabilitate waterways for better water quality outcomes.
In this influential role, you’ll lead a skilled team, overseeing projects from initiation to delivery, in alignment with Seqwater’s long term strategies. Your technical expertise in built asset construction, recreation management, catchment management and program management will be critical in collaborating with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and governance forums within the Naturals Program.

Represent Seqwater where required to collaborate across delivery programs, strategic projects, or external collaborative projects and opportunities relating to the Recreation and Erosion Control Programs.
To be successful in this role, you will possess:

Tertiary qualifications in project management, engineering, science or related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Strong experience in built asset delivery works directly applicable to recreation areas, such as carparks, wastewater systems, toilet blocks, playgrounds and boat ramps.
This position will be offered as an individual TFR package with an attractive salary and is a permanent full-time role.
Appointment to this role is subject to the provision of a national police check and may be subject to other medical/character requirements. Please note that people with criminal records are not automatically deemed ineligible. Each application will be considered on its merits.
