About Your Opportunity
You will play a crucial role in driving the dynamic performance of our contractor management within the Infrastructure Planning & Capital Delivery Group (IPCD). Your expertise will be instrumental in delivering contract administration services, spearheading process and system enhancements, and cultivating contract management capabilities within our team. As a pivotal member, you will collaborate closely with contract managers to ensure the seamless execution and outstanding performance of our contracts, making a tangible impact on our mission to secure Water for Life for future generations.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage contract administration and technical support for the Group, coordinating internal and external assistance for efficient management of contracts.
- Develop and implement robust systems and processes for the efficient administration of contracts and contractors.
- Provide expert contract administration advice to contract managers and other contract administrators.
- Manage contract administration and technical support for the Group, coordinating internal and external assistance for efficient management of contracts.
- Responsible and accountable for keeping accurate and complete records of business activities in accordance with Seqwater Records Management Policy.
- Conduct regular assessments to identify areas for improvement and adherence to contract requirements.
- Analyse contract performance data to generate regular reports to leaders on contract performance, highlighting expenditure and key performance indicators.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
Essentials
- Demonstrated experience in the administration, financial management and contractor management of professional services and capital works contracts.
Desirables
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business, Law or other relevant discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience across a range of delivery models including D&C, design-only, construct-only, collaborative contracting, target cost with gain/pain share mechanisms, PMC, and reimbursable arrangements will be highly regarded
