About Your Opportunity

The Infrastructure Planning and Capital Delivery Group is responsible for the planning and delivery of Seqwater’s short and long-term portfolio of capital delivery projects. With a focus on value creation, the Group ensures the effective development and alignment of Seqwater’s capital project pipeline and portfolio, innovation, efficiency and ensuring deliverability of projects within required performance standards. The Group also provides engineering standards and assurance functions ensuring compliance with obligations and effective management of business risk. This includes oversight of the asset management system and asset management improvement program

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead and support asset management improvements by initiating projects, collaborating with stakeholders to improve practices to provide organisational value and better alignment with ISO55001 standards.
  • Engage cross-functional teams including Asset Strategy and Planning, Capital Delivery, and Operations to identify and implement asset management system enhancements.
  • Drive innovation and continuous improvement by monitoring industry trends and applying innovative solutions to enhance asset serviceability, lifespan, and value.
  • Uphold Seqwater’s standards by complying with health, safety, environmental, and ethical guidelines, and performing additional duties as required.

Hours and Locations

This role can be based in either our Brisbane or Ipswich office. 

About you

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • Degree in Engineering or Science with 8+ years of relevant industry experience.
  • Asset Management training and experience strongly preferred.
  • Proficient in asset management systems (e.g., ISO55000 series) and/or familiarity with ISO9000, ISO18000, and ISO14000.
  • Experienced in operational projects involving process implementation or change.
  • Understanding of Enterprise Asset Management Systems and their role in delivery of service.
  • Experience of leading cross-functional teams to deliver business outcomes.
  • Skilled in stakeholder engagement and change management.
  • Clear, detail-focused communicator—written and verbal.
  • Holds Class C driver’s licence.

This position has a salary range of $132,746 - $145,422 (dependent on experience) plus 12.75% superannuation.
