About Your Opportunity
As Senior Commercial Manager, Infrastructure Planning and Capital Delivery (IPCD), you will shape the commercial foundations of Seqwater’s largest and most strategically significant infrastructure programs. Working closely with General Managers and senior leaders across Capital Delivery, you will drive the commercial strategy, governance, and performance frameworks that guide Seqwater’s multi‑billion‑dollar investment portfolio.

- Strengthen portfolio-wide commercial governance by overseeing assurance, financial performance, contractual compliance, and commercial risk management across all phases of planning, design, and delivery, ensuring robust systems and controls support nationally significant infrastructure programs.
- Influence executive‑level decision‑making within a matrix delivery environment, partnering with General Managers, Project Directors, and embedded commercial teams to integrate commercial functions seamlessly and shape strategic outcomes at executive and board levels.
- Lead procurement and contract strategy for major infrastructure packages, designing and executing procurement frameworks that meet Queensland Government policy requirements while driving innovation, transparency, sustainability, and optimal risk‑reward structures through complex negotiations and commercial agreements.
- Drive commercial performance and financial stewardship across design and delivery phases by ensuring design‑phase contracts are commercially sound, establishing rigorous forecasting and reporting systems, and enabling accurate, timely, and transparent portfolio‑level insights for executive leadership.
