About the role
As the Legal & Governance Coordinator, you'll be the central hub of the Legal & Governance team, reporting to the General Counsel providing trusted support to senior leaders, coordinating Board and governance activities, and ensuring critical documentation, systems and processes run seamlessly. You'll build strong stakeholder relationships, drive continuous improvement, and help deliver high-quality governance outcomes that support the organisation's strategic objectives.

 

What you'll bring

• Certificate IV or Diploma in Business Administration, Governance, Business Management or a related discipline, or equivalent demonstrated experience.
• Experience providing high-quality legal, operational and governance support in complex environments, managing competing priorities while ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and effective coordination across multiple functions.
• Proficiency in corporate systems, governance platforms, and document management, maintaining legal files and strong document control, data integrity, compliance, and governance records (including Microsoft applications, board and risk management systems).
• Strong judgement, discretion, and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential matters, build trusted relationships, and communicate effectively with executive, governance, legal, and assurance stakeholders.
• Experience designing and maintaining governance processes, workflows, and operational systems that support consistency, compliance, risk management, and business continuity across the organisation.
