  • Providing advanced technical guidance on prioritising dam safety risk mitigation across operations, maintenance and upgrade programs to ensure strong governance and risk resilience.

  • Critically review and challenge internal and external risk assessments and engineering solutions to assure the integrity of dam upgrades.

  • Ensuring dam upgrade programs embed rigorous dam safety risk management across design, construction and operational phases to achieve strategic safety and compliance outcomes.

  • Participating in the Dam Safety and Flood Operations Centre on-call rosters, providing expert real-time dam safety oversight and emergency response coordination.

  • Drivinge continuous improvement and governance of the Dam Safety Management Program and supporting systems in line with best-practice and compliance requirements.

  • Complying with Seqwater’s WHS, quality, environmental management systems, Code of Conduct, and undertake other duties as directed.

Appointment to this role is subject to the provision of a national police check and may be subject to other medical/character requirements. Please note that people with criminal records are not automatically deemed ineligible. Each application will be considered on its merits.
